Rise up fellow comrades and join us in creating the Socialist Utopian Paradise in Eternal Rose Bay (SUPERB)
Break the shackles of oppression and rid our glorious fatherland of ugly bus shelter monstrosities and their giant capitalist propaganda.
Fight the power at our non-violent direct action outside St Mary Magdalene’s Rose Bay and defend the birthright of every jubilant couple to record their sacred union without the weapons of corporatisation bombing their photos.
Crush the advance of conglomerates at St Mary’s before the insidious messaging infects every place of worship throughout our suburb, for capitalist swine will not stop at one church. They will not stop at one synagogue or one mosque or temple. No, dear comrades, they will install their blasphemous billboards outside every place of worship until no wedding photo is safe from attempts to lead us all into the temptation of eternal consumption.
We will fight.
We will chain ourselves to St Mary’s church until we have removed private advertising from the vicinity of this church and every religious building in the East. We will chain ourselves to every bus shelter and every proposed bus shelter, for buses carry our brainwashed brethren to their corporate prison cells and glittering shrines of private enterprise on a daily basis, and they destroy the sanctity of the most innocuous holy ground, including nail studios.
We will not surrender until the national mandatory commercial advertising policy bans images of counter-revolutionary treason and replaces them with images of Che, Fidel and Mao, or with uplifting messages urging us to maintain the rage ‘Hasta la Victoria, Siempre’.
Viva la Revolucion at St Mary’s or form your own soviet, for there is much to protect. Our revolution is glorious, and capitalist legislation and signed contracts are wrong, wrong, wrong. Inspire your cadre to rise up and smash public advertisements outside every religious entity including charity stores, private schools and aged-care facilities.
Get up, stand up and demand also that these same religious institutions are freed from the scourge of generous taxpayer subsidies and tax concessions, for it is only in the Socialist Utopian Paradise in Eternal Rose Bay that institutions such as St Mary’s will be released from the public purse and the visual pollution threatening their immaculate structures and surrounds.
Remind Woollahra Council that Indigenous Australians worshipped the land under your feet, some neighbours worship nature, and every influencer worships themselves, so every public space should be liberated from the petite bourgeoisie.
Return our region to the proletariat and rejoice in a socialist utopia without the opiate of the masses.
Or, just ask the wedding photographer to edit the advertising screens out of your photos.
